Molecular Histology

We embed tissues for cryopreservation and in paraffin. Molecular histology analysis includes slide scanning in bright field and fluorescence scanners, and quantitative image analysis. Bioneer offers advanced research platforms including:

Molecular Profiling

  • Biomarker profiling on cell cultures or cancer spheroids using the Luminex platform to measure e.g. chemokine and cytokine levels or other soluble biomarkers.
  • RNA expression profiling using RT-qPCR or RNAseq, i.e. whole transcriptomic analysis, on total RNA extracts from tissue biopsies and cell cultures.
